INFORMATION TEXT FOR PHYSICAL VISITORS REGARDING THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA IN ACCORDANCE WITH LAW NO. 6698 ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

 

IDENTITY OF THE DATA CONTROLLER

Can Tourism Investments and Operations Inc.; as the data controller (hereinafter referred to as “the company”), the personal data processed when you visit our company are as follows:

• Identity data in the form of name-surname
• Your Republic of Turkey ID number and traffic information related to internet usage for internet usage purposes
• Image and sound recordings obtained through cameras, photographs, and telephone devices (In case of camera recording, warning signs are provided in the relevant areas. In case of telephone recording, information is provided that sound recording is processed.)

PURPOSES OF PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data may be processed by the company for purposes such as but not limited to the following purposes and legal reasons. Your personal data:

• For the continuity and auditing of quality, information security, and privacy policies
• For entry-exit identification and control purposes
• For ensuring physical security and privacy practices in the workplace
• For emergency medical interventions and fulfilling obligations related to occupational health and safety
• For fulfilling the requests of public institutions and organizations as required by legal regulations
• For taking necessary measures against epidemic diseases such as Covid 19 that may affect public health in general
• It may be processed for the purpose of fulfilling the legal obligations specified in the personal data protection law.

TO WHOM AND FOR WHAT PURPOSE YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL BE TRANSFERRED

Your processed personal data, limited to mandatory information, may be shared primarily, if necessary, domestically and abroad with:

• Inspection firms, occupational health and safety specialists, and public institutions and organizations to fulfill our legal obligations,
• Servers located abroad, primarily in EU countries, America, and Russia, and companies providing server support in cloud computing scenarios where cloud computing services are used,
• Inspection firms and information security firms for necessary quality, privacy, and standard audits,
• Public institutions and organizations to fulfill legal requirements and/or comply with requests from official authorities when necessary.

METHOD OF COLLECTION AND LEGAL BASIS OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

In order to fulfill the purposes stated above for processing your personal data, the company collects your personal data by the following methods in accordance with the personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the personal data protection law:

• Through cameras and similar devices placed in our hotel buildings
• Through digital systems where personal data entry is made for internet usage purposes
• Through visitor registration forms.

ACCESS RIGHT TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA AND REQUESTS FOR RECTIFICATION

By applying to us, you have the right to:

• Learn whether your personal data is processed,
• Request information if your personal data has been processed,
• Learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
• Know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
• Request correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed,
• Request deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated by the relevant legislation,
• Request notification of correction, deletion, or destruction transactions to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred, if any,
• Object to the occurrence of a result against you by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
• Request compensation for damages in case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data.
